LadBaby and Phoenix's Bath Bomb Challenge: Bath Sprudels Take the Win!

LadBaby and Phoenix's Bath Bomb Challenge: Bath Sprudels Take the Win!

LadBaby (Mark) and his son Phoenix put three fizzy, colourful bath bombs to the test in a YouTube bath bomb challenge, dropping each one into a big bowl of water to see which was best. The result? Bath Sprudels took the win, and they were Phoenix's (and LadBaby Dad and Mum's) favourite bath bombs!

The bath bombs in the challenge

  • Unicorn Poo bath bombs
  • Pirates of the Caribbean Treasure Chest from Lush
  • Bath Sprudels from The Bean People

Can you guess which one Phoenix liked the most before you watch?

How the challenge played out

Round 1: Unicorn Poopies. Phoenix chose to drop in five of these little bath bombs. They sank straight to the bottom, and the boys were hoping for a few more rainbow colours.

Round 2: Pirates of the Caribbean Treasure Chest. This one turned the water green, then gold and sparkly, finishing with a yellow colour change.

Round 3: Bath Sprudels. Phoenix picked from a pile of colourful Sprudels. Down it went to the bottom, then it rose back up and fizzed away until something appeared inside... a little submarine sponge toy! In the video, the verdict was "that was brilliant". The boys had never seen a bath bomb with a surprise like that before, and they agreed the Sprudels were great value and a lot of fun.

Why kids love Bath Sprudels

Every Bath Sprudel is a little surprise. Drop one into a warm bath and watch it fizz and colour the water. When the fizzing stops, a sponge toy appears! With over 50 different shapes to collect, you never know which one you'll get.

  • A sponge toy inside every Sprudel to keep and play with again and again.
  • Bright, fizzy colours that won't stain your bath, your child, their hair or towels.
  • Colour mixing fun. Try two different colours at once, or swirl the two colours of an Egg or Jumbo Sprudel to discover a third!

Made for kids, tested for peace of mind

Bath Sprudels are made with gentle ingredients and food-grade colours, with no perfumes or essential oils. Every Bath Buddies bath product carries the CE mark and is tested to the toy safety standards EN71 (EU and UK), ISO 8124 (global, including Australia and New Zealand) and ASTM F963-23 (USA). They've also been dermatologically tested. Each Sprudel is handmade in Cape Town, South Africa by The Bean People.

Bath Sprudels are suitable for children aged 3 and over, due to the size of the sponge toys inside. Children should always be supervised in the bath.
